Frequently Asked Questions

  • I do require a 3-person minimum to book (or the equivalent in $)

  • Everyone learns at a different rate, but I do recommend 2 lessons at a minimum. 1 lesson is enough to learn the foundations, but to play confidently on your own you’ll probably need 2-3 lessons.

  • There is a wide range of options out there on Mahjong sets. You’ll definitely want to be committed if you’re going to invest in a high-quality set. It’s worth it though as the higher sets are much more durable (and beautiful)!

  • When teaching private lessons, I provide everything needed to play the game (including NMJL cards). I just need a table to set up at.

  • If your location is more than 30 miles away, I do charge a travel fee.
